The last step in becoming a 100% independent driver
The Full License test is a half hour practical assessment, including the pre-drive vehicle check and post-drive feedback. As part of your test your assessor will take you through busy parts of your town/city and you will be required to demonstrate your ability to drive safely in a wide range of situations.
During your test you will be asked to verbally identify the hazards you encounter (cyclists, children etc.) without prompting from your assessor, with what you identified being compared to what was seen by your assessor.
School students are eligible for 2 NCEA level 2 credits if they pass their Full License test.
