Road Code Training Academy

The first step on the road to learning to drive. Once you have acquired your Learner License you can legally drive on the road with a supervisor and start gaining valuable experience.

The Learner License test is a computerised multi-choice theory test with over 200 possible questions covering all aspects of driving. The test itself has 35 questions, of which you need to get 32 correct to pass.

School students are also eligible to gain 2 NCEA level 1 credits if they pass their test.
